SNOWMOON MUSIC provides music for film, TV, immersive arts, and advertising. Classically trained musicians Gilbert Gabriel and Amy Edwards have a rich background of working in dance, film, and the arts, with an array of experience that includes international success.

 

The idea for  SNOWMOON MUSIC  was inspired by Gilbert Gabriel and Amy's collaboration on the Southwest's first Immersive Arts Symposium in 2022. Their music captures the essence of neoclassical composers such as Max Richter and Arvo Pärt while embracing cutting-edge electronic experimentalism. They also create bespoke songs tailored to accompany visuals, dance, and multimedia projects.

 

Gilbert’s success in the music industry—most notably with The Dream Academy's Life in a Northern Town and contributions to Hollywood films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Trains, Boats and Aeroplanes—combines seamlessly with Amy’s elegiac cello playing and deep sensibility for film and the arts. Together, they create an original and heartfelt musical alchemy, blending innovation with emotion in a way that is both unique and cinematic.
